



It seems some people forget about those little round things called bearings.Yes the kits have been upgraded.The washers,spring washers and oil seal are now at a level of reliability.BUT BRP forgot to upgrade the bearings leaving them the weak link of the charger.SO if you think,or want to chance making it to 200 hours good luck.like some of the others in the know have stated.get that charger rebuilt.dont mess with statements or so called recommendations.get it out and rebuilt otherwise you may be rebuilding a motor on top of it. Once the SC is 'broken', 9/10 times its engine rebuild time or sometimes, complete replacement. If the SC fails at say.170hrs, do you think BRP will do anything to help rebuild a 10 year old ski? (rhetorical because the answer is no)Besides, the 'don't touch something that is not broken' attitude should never be applied to SC service (or any type of 'service').
